Endolift Research Study
Dr Hasan Benar is the first author of a peer-reviewed, 234-patient comparative study on Endolift® laser skin tightening, published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology (Wiley) in 2024 — to our knowledge one of the largest published clinical studies of Endolift-based treatment. Citation: Benar H, Benar EB. A new nonsurgical combination approach for skin tightening and remodeling; Endoskin — a comparative study. J Cosmet Dermatol. 2024;23(8):2574–2580. DOI: 10.1111/jocd.16306. PMID: 38544427.

What the study looked at
The study compared two groups of patients treated at our London clinic: one group received Endolift® internal laser treatment alone (1470 nm diode laser, Eufoton LASEmaR® 1500); the other received Endolift® combined with injectable poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) in the same session — the protocol we named Endoskin®. Skin tightening, texture and volume were assessed and compared between the groups. The combination group showed better tightening and remodelling than Endolift® alone.

Why it matters when choosing an Endolift doctor
Most Endolift providers describe their experience in numbers of cases. A peer-reviewed study is different: the protocol, patient selection, outcomes and limitations were reviewed by independent dermatologists before publication, and the results are open for any doctor to check. In the UK very few Endolift® providers have published clinical research on the treatment.
Dr Benar has performed more than 3,000 Endolift® treatments since 2019 and treats Endolift patients in London today using the same protocol and the same device (Eufoton LASEmaR® 1500) described in the paper. You can check any doctor's publications yourself by searching their name on PubMed or Google Scholar.

Is the Endolift study peer-reviewed?
Yes. It was published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology (Wiley), a peer-reviewed dermatology journal, in 2024 (volume 23, issue 8, pages 2574–2580) and is indexed on PubMed (PMID 38544427).
How many patients were included?
234 patients treated at Dr Elif Clinic, London, divided into an Endolift®-only group and an Endolift® plus PLLA (Endoskin®) group. To our knowledge this makes it one of the largest published clinical studies of Endolift-based treatment.
Where can I read the full paper?
On Wiley Online Library at doi.org/10.1111/jocd.16306, or via the PubMed record (PMID 38544427). Dr Benar's publications can also be found by searching his name on Google Scholar and ResearchGate.
Does Dr Benar still use the protocol from the study?
Yes. Every Endolift® and Endoskin® treatment at the clinic is performed by Dr Benar personally, with the Eufoton LASEmaR® 1500 device and the protocol described in the paper.
